How To Book
Booking: You can contact me direct or give my details to the Funeral Director / Organiser, who will send your details to me.
Payment is usually via the Funeral Director / Organiser, who normally includes my fees in their original quote (I will provide a business invoice).
Price List (from 1st January 2026)
Full Service: £245
Includes initial consultation (usually takes 2 to 3 hours); advice & professional guidance; preparation & editing of the service; liaison and planning with the Funeral Director / Organiser and venue; delivery of a standard-length service at one location (usually up to 45 mins); copy of the Service Notes provided.
Extended Service: £345
Includes all of the above, with delivery of an extended / double-length service at one location (usually up to 90 mins).
Pre-Planned Services
May include a downpayment or additional fees, depending on the number of consultations and preparation involved. This will be agreed with the Client & Funeral Director / Arranger in advance.
Tribute - Writing and Delivery: £185
Includes initial consultation; preparation & editing of a bespoke tribute (e.g. during a service being led by another Celebrant / Minister; liaison with the Funeral Director / Officiant; delivery up to 30 minutes; copy of the Service Notes provided.
Writing Services: From £135
Including:
- A tribute or full service to be delivered by another Celebrant / Minister (prepared in consultation with them);
- Speech writing for other occasions (e.g. weddings, birthdays, retirement etc).
All above include initial consultation; preparation & editing of bespoke speech notes; provision of notes 3 days beforehand (or other deadline as agreed).
Miscellaneous Costs
- Burial / Interment or Scattering of Ashes Ceremony immediately following a Service delivered by me at a different location: from £55 (based on distance / time / length)
- Return Travel beyond the defined area (25 road miles = 50 miles return): variable according to fuel costs / additional travel time
- Other Travel and Accommodation: charged at cost (receipts provided)
- Other / Bespoke Services: POA
Cancellation Fees
- Before Initial Consultation: No charge
- After Consultation (over 7 days before Funeral): £90 Full / £120 Extended
- After Consultation (up to 7 days before Funeral): £130 Full / £180 Extended
- After issue of First Draft: £180 Full / £255 Extended
- After issue of subsequent edits / Final Version: £195 Full / £280 Extended
** In all cases, the higher amount will apply.
