"Good morning Chris
Thank you so much for your incredible contribution to our Mum's funeral. The service was a perfect balance between respect and humour. The amount of time and effort that you put into its preparation was very evident. The small touches, such as addressing the camera directly when talking to the on-line audience did not go unnoticed.
We are proud of the send-off we gave to Mum - it would not have been the same without you.
Thank you. Kind regards”
Keith
“Morning Chris.
I totally agree with everything that Keith has said. We knew from the start, when the care you showed in preparation was exemplary, that we had picked the right person, and you never let us down. I would just add that on the day, the care and compassion that you showed towards us was also much appreciated. Thank you.
Very best wishes, and heartfelt thanks.”
Linda
"Dear Chris
We all just wanted to send a huge thank you for the absolutely wonderful send off that you gave for our Dad.
From the minute we met you, we felt as though we were in safe hands and had total confidence that you would pull everything together for us in a way that we wanted.
You managed to get so many memories out of us and the way you delivered it all on the day was fantastic.
Our Dad was the most special Dad and Husband and we were anxious to give him the send off he deserved and you helped us to do just that.
We cannot thank you enough for all your help, support and guidance through the most upsetting of times. Some many people made a point afterwards of telling us how brilliant the service was and how much they enjoyed hearing all about our lovely Dad.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts "

"Dear Chris,
I just wanted to thank you for a truly wonderful celebration of Mark. It was even better than I thought it would be and I thought it would be amazing. Even some of mum's friends that had not met him before said they felt they got to know him a bit after the service, which was lovely and testament to you. Many thanks."
Paul
"Hi Chris. I can’t express enough how grateful I am for today. Your piece was perfect, and human - delivered with love and humour. My mum would have loved it, and she was a fussy woman.
Extra note: we raised £803 split Queenscourt and Claire House. Made up with that.
Thank you so much"
Damian and family
"Thank you Chris. It was perfect. You totally nailed it.
It was lovely. Everyone has been talking about how wonderful it was."

"Hi Chris
I can't thank you enough the outstanding delivery of the tribute you delivered for my Dad this afternoon.
I don't think it could have been bettered, and that was the resounding feedback from all of the guests today.
So on behalf of my brother and my family, and most of all my Dad who would have been thrilled, a thousand thanks again.
My best regards and hope you and your family have a great Christmas."
Paul
"Dear Chris
From the first words you said to us, 'I don’t do sad funerals.' I knew we were going to have a funeral to do my silly old fool of a dad proud.
Chatting to you and relating all our memories was actually very refreshing after weeks of sadness when he was so ill; and made me remember my life with him with love and laughter.
I will be forever grateful to you for the way you put everything together and created a very fun funeral, which was exactly what he would have wanted.
With love,"

"Hi Chris,
Thank you so much for your help yesterday in ‘painting a portrait’ of my Mum.
You were gentle, respectful and funny in equal measures and received many compliments afterwards.
Clearly you’d paid great attention during the meeting with Dad and me prior to the funeral and managed to obtain some good stories and thoughts from us. I know that meeting was cathartic for both of us.
I won’t hesitate to recommend you to family and friends should they need your services in the future."
Jan & family
"Hi Chris
I just wanted to say a big thank you for yesterday. Given the information provided by us, you brought to life some of the memories the family have of Jimmy.
Several people commented on how well you spoke about Jimmy and the light-hearted service was the perfect tone.
With our sincere gratitude."

"Dad's funeral was a real celebration of his life. Chris put us all at ease from the start and Dad's tribute was delivered beautifully and professionally. The modern and light crematorium felt peaceful and had a calming feel to it.
Since the funeral we have received many comments from family and friends who attended, as to what a truly lovely service it had been. Thank you Chris for delivering just a snippet of Dad's full life so eloquently on the day.

"Hi Chris
Just to say thank you ever so much for your support at Ed’s committal service. Josh & Max both thought the tone set was exactly how their Dad would have wanted.
I loved the squash reference - double session duels to the death! You set it up perfectly for my part in the proceedings and I appreciated the layout, with pages in a folder to aid continuity.
The celebration of his life continued in The Slipway with a slideshow, more great posters, and a memory book.
I don’t want to tempt fate, however that is exactly what I want when I have to hand my season ticket back!
Thanks again, Chris
Kind regards"

"Just wanted to drop you a line up say thank you for yesterday. The day went perfectly - even the weather was perfect. Dad would have approved! Thank you to Chris who was amazing on the day. Tough day but a fitting send-off.
So many friends and family talked to us at the wake about how good the service was and said that they had considered looking at the civil celebrant for themselves as opposed to a religious service.
Thank you again for helping us through the initial weeks of our Dad’s death in terms of the funeral and for ensuring that he had a great send off. We will be forever grateful.
Thanks and regards"

"We want to tell you how much we appreciated the manner of our dear Peter’s funeral ceremony. The way you had put together a delivery of happy, sad and informative memories of our brother’s life was quite beautiful and touching; many of us were moved to laughter and tears at the memories at a life well lived.
Peter was full of positive and loving feelings, which he demonstrated every time he spoke to us, even towards the end of his life. The way in which you managed to bring that personality to us in that room was so much felt by each of us in our own way. For me, Peter was a real presence among us, joining in with the memories and bringing his warmth and love to everyone.
The Lumberjack Song was a great touch and brought back memories of when Pete and his troupe performed it on his birthday bash at the Bold Hotel.
Thank you, Chris, for a service which brought comfort and joy especially to these sisters June and Norma, who loved their dear companion of a lifetime very much."

“If we are being honest, nobody wishes to meet Chris the Celebrant, (not Chris the person). However, despite the shock of losing my person, I’m glad that my family did meet Chris. He was there to support and guide us through such a difficult time and with such patience and compassion.
I have no idea how Chris deciphered our jumbled ramblings of tales and events but he did; and he managed to understand who G was to us all. The service Chris gave was unmistakably G, a fitting tribute to both him and his life.
To ask the question again, would I want to have to meet Chris in his professional capacity and the answer is still ‘no’, but my family are thankful to have had him by our side and I know G would have approved.”
Alison
"It was just such a surreal day, but the service was absolutely perfect; and from the minute we got to the wake, and even still now by text, I’m getting nothing but huge compliments on how you conducted and delivered it all.
We can’t thank you enough for your help in painting the wonderful picture, of my wonderful Mol and dad to Lewis and Amy.
Thank you so very very much."
Jill
"Hi Chris,
Once again, my Mum and I want to thank you for a fantastic day today.
Everyone gave praise and said, it was an amazing speech .
Thank you."

My very best wishes."

“I just wanted to say thank you for the tribute you gave. It can't have been easy trying to cater for the separate memories of our loved one and get in everyone’s version / memory. I hope / believe his parents were happy. The most important thing for me was that our sons were content. You did him justice 😊
Thanks again."

“Chris, Thankyou so much for the way you delivered the happy stories and memories of Jimmy's life. From the 1st time you came to our house, you made it easy for us to let you know exactly how we wanted the day to go. It was perfect, just how Jim would have wanted it to go.
I would recommend your services to anyone who has lost a loved one.
Thanks again.”

“Chris did a wonderful tribute for my dad.
He really listened to what we had talked about together and made a difficult day much easier for myself and my mum.”

“I would say that you gave us a confidence from the outset that you would give a fitting send off for Mum. On the day, you put people at ease with just the right mix of reverential gravitas and poignancy as befits the occasion, with a charming manner that was humorous on occasion.
You captured the essence of Mum's life perfectly and we couldn’t have been any happier with the result.”
Christine
“Chris delivered Doreen’s eulogy at our parish church, where we attended and helped out for many years. We laughed and wept together as we shared our stories and prepared her eulogy (the whisky may have helped!)
He spoke with warmth and passion on behalf of her family and friends about my wonderful wife and gave us all something to smile about, bringing light into the darkest of days. Thank you, my friend.”
Mike
"Chris - thank you for leading Harald's funeral. I have had so many complimenting both your eulogy and the service itself. I think there were at least 20 in Norway and 15 in England who joined online. Tusen takk for alt!"
Sonja
"Chris - thank you so much for being our dad's celebrant. The service you provided was beautiful. You really painted the perfect picture of him. People left saying that they felt like they really knew him after the way you delivered the service. You were brilliant!"

"Chris was the perfect celebrant to conduct our tribute to our lost love one, he made the service all we wanted it to be. We received many compliments from service attendees just how good Chris was, and how he truly celebrated a life remembered. Our family wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chris as you will be in safe hands in a time when they are very much needed."

"At a time when you feel so sad, it is hard to think of celebrating but Chris captured, so well, the way I felt about my Dad.
The celebration of my Dad's life was just that: a celebration, led by Chris, it was not a sombre occasion, but a fitting way to say goodbye to a man who would have really appreciated it"
Steve
"A beautiful service, listening to all our requests and truly capturing my grandmother's wit and sense of humour. Couldn’t recommend enough. Thank you Chris!"

"Having previously worked with Chris, I was overjoyed to learn of his new venture as an Independent Funeral Celebrant. Chris has a warmth and a humour which can bring the saddest day of people’s lives into something which is so much more wholesome and he fetches new meaning into bringing someone back into the room.
He is incredibly organised and leaves no stone unturned to work with the family to provide such beautiful bespoke tributes for each service and it is testament to him the level of care he completes every service with. He truly does turn it from a funeral into a celebration of life and learns so much about the individual.
He is also very capable of leaving the big decisions to the family and acts as their guide for the service so does not overstep or cause unnecessary concern. He is an absolute stand up gentleman and I cannot recommend his services highly enough."

"Chris Taylor played an active role in the Christmas Bereavement Service, organized by a local Funeral Director, held at Leyland Road Methodist Church.
The service aimed to help recently bereaved through what can be a very difficult time in our calendar year.
Chris spoke with strength and sensitivity, providing empathy and hope to all those who attended."
